  • Meet Rachelle

I’m a therapist who understands that there’s no one-size-fits-all approach to healing.

I know that anyone can change how they feel, because it’s all about the data that we store in our brains and how we interact with that data on an emotional basis. My educational background is in neuroscience and social work, so I have the training to help you understand what’s going on inside your head and how to use that knowledge to heal yourself.

As a disabled therapist, I understand the role that our body and brain play in our day-to-day life. My goal is to use my understanding of the brain and therapy to help you heal and find comfort in the most effective way possible.

My specialty is working with individuals and couples living with chronic pain and illness, depression, grief, anxiety, and neurodiversity. I am a compassionate therapist who wants to help my clients meet their goals—and I know that by individualizing treatment and meeting you where you are emotionally, I can help you heal and find comfort!

    My Approach

I am passionate about helping my clients to find comfort and peace by using Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy as well as other evidence-based approaches. I know that we take all of the information that we have received and we store it in our brains; this helps create our relationships and patterns; this is also how I understand that as people we are all different and complex.

I know that by individualizing treatment and meeting you where you are, emotionally, I can help you heal and find comfort.

    Our Values

    Integrity

We are therapists who believe that the best way to help you is to build trust and show you our commitment to helping you meet your goals. We do this by using evidence-based modalities. As a result, We are confident that we can help you.

    Growth

When we think about growth, most of us think about building resilience. But I don't think that is enough. We need to be cultivating vulnerability in ourselves and others- that means building a compassionate space for you and others so that you can be truly vulnerable. And, if we want to grow in a sustainable way, we need to build trust and safety. This is how we grow.

    Acceptance

Acceptance means acknowledging and embracing your feelings, experiences, and opinions. I will always work to cultivate a space that is accepting. It's about being able to say "I feel this way" or "I think this," even if it's not socially acceptable or popular. Acceptance gives us permission to be who we are and encourages us to embrace our own uniqueness.
